Teaching Approach

Teaching is something I am deeply passionate about. As a first-generation college student, I know how impactful the right opportunities and guidance can be. I firmly believe that anyone with the right mindset and habits can achieve their goals, and I see that potential in every student I work with—regardless of skill level or background.

Most of the topics I teach are complex and rigorous, so my approach emphasizes breaking down difficult concepts into simple, digestible steps. This helps students build a strong foundation while developing the confidence to tackle subjects that can often feel overwhelming. I have experience with both one-on-one sessions and small-group lessons (up to 10 students), and I tailor my methods to fit each individual's learning style and pace.

Pricing

Most students meet once a week. Each session is one hour, and sessions can be split up or combined to fit your schedule. For direct booking and the 4-hour bundle, pay via Venmo or Zelle.

Direct Booking

$60/hour

One-hour minimum per session. I bill in 5-minute increments at the hourly rate afterwards.

4-Hour Bundle

$200 ($50/hour)

Four hours of tutoring time, paid upfront as a single package.

Wyzant

$80/hour

Contact and scheduling are handled through Wyzant. The rate is higher due to platform fees.

In-Person Sessions

I offer in-person tutoring for students who prefer meeting face-to-face. The hourly rate stays the same, with an additional $20 fee per in-person session (Ex. for 2 hours: 2 × $60/hour + $20 = $140).

Availability and meeting location depend on scheduling. If you are interested in in-person tutoring, email or text me and we can discuss whether it is a good fit.

Payment Methods

Session Detail

Remote sessions via Zoom or Google Meet: Online tutoring from anywhere.

In-person sessions: Available for interested students; the hourly rate is unchanged, with a $20 fee added per session (see above).

Scheduling: All times are in Pacific Standard Time (Currently: )

Lesson cancellation: You can reschedule or cancel a session up to 24 hours before the lesson starts. If you change with less than 24 hours notice, you will be charged for one hour of the agreed-upon rate for your lesson.
